After going to three different Walgreens and waiting for over an hour, I got my flu and Covid vaccines yesterday. I got the Covid 2023-2024 updated vaccine, which is my fifth Covid vaccine. I was kind of in a hurry to get both vaccines because I’m going on vacation soon and I do not plan on getting Covid like I did last Christmas when I went to NYC or getting any side effects from the vaccines right before the trip.

I got both vaccines on the same arm, my left arm, like I usually do, even though I see a lot of people get one on each arm .For eleven years I have been terrified of getting a shot on my right arm and as long as I can get away with getting them both on my left arm. Besides, my arm will hurt after the shot anyway, so instead of having pain in both arms, I just have pain in one arm and I can handle pain pretty well.

But, even if I can handle pain, I did feel it a few times last night. It didn’t keep me up, but I remember feeling it and having to move it a little a few times. It also really bothered me when I woke up and I felt like I really shouldn’t exercise. Maybe working out would have helped it hurt less because you’re supposed to move it, but another side effect is tiredness. I have never had this side effect, but I have always rested after the vaccine. I had to work today so I didn’t want to do anything that would affect me at work, but everything went fine.

Even though I didn’t exercise, I did vacuum and mopped my house, so at least I got something done today. Now, at almost 7 pm I’m starting to feel tired now but I don’t know if it’s the vaccines or because I’m laying in my bed. It’s probably the latter.
