When you are on a two week vacation to New York City, you can visit a different museum everyday and you still won’t run out of museums On our third day, we visited another museum. This time it was the MOMA or Museum of Modern Art.
I had no idea what to expect to see there but I was not disappointed. There was art in every shape or form since the moment we walked into the building. The first thing I was as I walked in was a huge screen near the entrance, displaying paint of different colors blending together.
From there, everything was more surprising and interesting than the last. From AI to a Google Map pin to designs by architects to prioritize energy conservation and buildings that will adapt to the changes of the world around them.

I also enjoyed seeing Andy Warhol’s famous Campbell’s Soup Cans

The museum felt very calm and relaxed as I walked around the different galleries and collections, until I got to the last fifth floor. All of the sudden I turned around and it felt like all of Manhattan had decided to visit the MOMA at the same time. I just thought, where did all these people come from? That’s when I realized I had reached the fifth floor, where they had collections of artists like Matisse, Van Gogh, Picasso and Monet.

After the museum we walked around Rockefeller Center, visited the famous stories there, like FAO Schwarz and the Lego store. We couldn’t stay there long though, we had to get ready for our exiting night, we were going to Broadway!

That night I saw my first show on Broadway, The Book of Mormon. I was laughing from beginning to end. I really had a great time and thought it was a great show with great music, very good actors and I think it’s written very well. It’s a great show if you’re looking for a good laugh, seriously, but if you’re easily offended or very religious, I would skip it. It makes fun of and criticizes everyone, especially religions.

It was a great third day in NYC, with a lot of walking like those before and very painful for my knee and ankle, but I kept going because I didn’t want to miss a thing.
