Today I went to two bookstores looking for a good book to read. I had already done research on Amazon and had a few books on mind; books by Amy Poehler and Mindy Kaling. I already read Mindy’s first book and really liked it; so I went back to the same bookstore where I bought it to get her second book, which I had seen there and was sure I would find. This time they didn’t have that one, Amy Poehler’s book or any other like that. They didn’t have a big variety of books, like they had the other times I had been there. I don’t know what happened to them but they let me down.

When I asked the only employee at the store, he told me they didn’t have it but he thought they had it at another store, so there I went, looking for a book. Turns out they didn’t have it there either, the ran out. This time the employees helped me look for the book or any other like it. They found two; Bossypants by Tina Fey, Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson. I had only heard about Tina Fey’s book, not the other one, but after reading a little bit about it , I decided to get them both. I looked over a few others but decided on those two.

It was a little bit of a let down because I went out looking for books and even though I got two books, they weren’t the one’s I was looking for. The stores didn’t have a big variety books and most of them were kind of old. People in there were just on their computers drinking coffee., not reading books. I miss the days when you could go to Borders or any other bookstore and find a lot of good books, bot old and new. We don’t have that anymore and I know there’s Amazon, but what if I want the book now and I want a hard copy, not an e-book?  This was a big let down and reading e-books is just not the same.
