It was a weird feeling, being in a full movie theatre and hearing that opening music again.

We went back into the Wizarding World for the ninth time, but this time we went back in time to 1926 in New York City. We were not going to Hogwarts and we weren’t in England, it was a new Wizarding World.

This time it was a different feeling for me because I had not read the book before and it was a different time, place and new characters but it was the same magic. I really didn’t know what to expect but I enjoyed it.

This movie mentions things that we already know or at least heard about in the other films like the main character Newt Scamander and the mention of Albus Dumbledore, even though he is not headmaster yet. Not only this, but the mention of Hogwarts and seeing the story behind one of the textbooks that is frequently mentioned throughout the story always reminds you that this is a prequel of the Harry Potter franchise, while not saying a word about Harry because neither him or his parents have been born yet. But while never letting us forget about what originated all of this, it brought new characters and creatures to life.

I am still amazed at how this story just keeps growing and everything that can still be made out of just this movie. During one scene I was just thinking this would be a great ride for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios Orlando (I’m willing to share my idea with Universal or J.K Rowling, if they want to talk).

I hope everyone enjoys this movie as much as I did and I hope I didn’t spoil it for anyone, I do not want to do that, I hate spoilers.
