After writing the book, Every 21 seconds, about his Traumatic Brain Injury, Brian Sweeny’s story is now becoming a movie. The film will show his rehabilitation and what it means living life with a TBI. The director, Kuba Luczkiewicz is trying to show what happens after a real TBI, be as loyal to the story as possible and include the real life challenges TBI survivors face, like memory problems. While making the movie, they are trying to show the invisible problems and struggles we face after a TBI, those that can’t be seen.
