Check out this brain-training video game created by a neuroscientist after her father suffered a brain injury. Using this game, users can accomplish real-life tasks, like driving and cooking. Doing this combines physical movement to activate the whole neural network and also increases cognition and brain plasticity.
Video games like Intendu one are used during rehabilitation, help track the patients’ rehabilitation process. My rehab center had a Wii, with games like Just Dance, to help me during physical therapy. It’s good to see that this amazing technology is being put to good use, like helping patients’ rehabilitation and as a patient I can say I really enjoyed playing a game during rehab, which made the learning better, easier and more enjoyable. You really see the change when you can reach a new level in the game you couldn’t reach before.
