Well, this will make my Christmas a lot more interesting and a little stressful.
I had not done anything after my neurologist told me to start practicing again a few weeks ago, but I just god behind the wheel before coming home a couple of hours ago. I was a little nervous because it was starting to get dark and even though I was driving inside a closed neighborhood, there were still a lot of cars. I even had to let a car drive around me because he was driving so close to me. I don’t even know why someone was in such a big hurry on a Sunday night.
I don’t know if I want to ask how I did, I just want to get the chance to keep practicing for a little while every weekend. I think I will get the chance to keep practicing because it’s what the neurologist told me to do.
It was exiting being behind the wheel again, only it was a little weird because it was a little dark and I was driving an SUV which is bigger than the car I drove when I was learning again two years ago. I would have liked to practice for a little bit longer and maybe get more used to this car but it was getting late and we had to get home. I also wish I could have practiced yesterday too, but there is always next weekend.
This whole driving thing wasn’t easy the first time I tried two years ago; I was terrified and it wasn’t easy convincing people to let me do it, but once I got an instructor it was easy. This time I don’t think I need an instructor, just practice so it should be easier but I guess we wont know until I spent a little bit more time practicing and hopefully it wont be dark out next time. I really need to get comfortable in the car before I try driving at night.
