This morning I had scheduled the Meta Social Media Marketing Associate exam. I had already taken this exam twice and didn’t pass but you know what they say, “third time’s a charm”, so I’ve been studying and taking some practice tests for about a week to finally get my certification.
I was really worried because this was a multiple choice exam. I haven’t been able to count on my memory very much for the last eleven years and no matter how many times I read over the material, I wouldn’t be able to remember everything. I was just hoping logic would help me get the answers. I had some hope though because the first two times, I didn’t fail by that much, but I did rush through it and didn’t double check my answers.
This time I didn’t rush through the exam, had no distractions, took my time reading through the questions and thinking about them. I did the same with the answers; I thought about it and slowly decided which ones were wrong. When I was done I went back and double checked the questions. There was one specific question that I realized the answer was wrong just as I clicked next so I made sure to check that one.
Because this time I didn’t rush through the exam, I finally passed the Meta Social Media Marketing Professional Certification!

If that wasn’t enough to make my day, I practiced driving again. I’m not in any rush, but I have to be comfortable driving in case I need to in an emergency. It would also be nice to be able to drive somewhere if I want to.
I don’t know how long my driving lesson was but at the end of it my stepfather told me that it was good. I’m not ready to go out on the highway alone, but for someone who hasn’t been behind the wheel for so long, it wasn’t bad. He said I need to be more sure of myself, make faster decisions, drive a little faster and get more control over the steering wheel. He said next time we’re going to focus on turning.
I’m already nervous about practicing going in reverse.
