Today, August 23 2016, our Olympic athletes were being welcomed home with a big caravan, people were everywhere on the streets following them, waiting for them to pass in the street and for them to get to the coliseum. It was a lot of fun to watch them pass from my apartment, it wasn’t so much fun getting stuck in traffic on my way to class. Tonight was the first day of class for my postgraduate class in digital journalism.

As if I wasn’t nervous enough to be attending class for the first time in over four years, I had the stress of not getting there in time. I am going to try this once again; this time I’m trying to do this live and in person, being in the same room as the professor and the rest of the class, unlike last time I tried this which was online and it didn’t work out.

I was scared this class would be big, like a big class room full of people, but it wasn’t like that at all. I was one of the six people in the class, I was able to answer the profesor’s first question, pay attention and take notes. Today’s class gave me a lot of security and I think this time I can do it, I can pass the class and maybe even go on with my original plans to do the whole masters degree.
