I read this article a couple of days ago and I can’t stop thinking about it. It gave me a better understanding of my brain injury and why they tell me I have to avoid any sudden movements of my head, like on a rollercoaster. For some reason I just thought I couldn’t hit my head and while I still shouldn’t get massive hit to the head, hard movements of my head, which make the brain move may be more dangerous.
It gave me a little bit of chills seeing the image of the brain moving to show what goes on during a concussion and it’s a little hard to believe that my brain did that. Such a complicated thing with so much information shouldn’t move around, things can break or get lost. (In my case, a lot of things got lost and I still can’t find them.)
Scientists are still just trying to understand the most complicated computer ever built, the human brain and I’m glad to see that they continue to learn more everyday.
