Today I got to my workout pretty early after I came home from work. I had to be done early because I was getting my flu shot so I started walking quickly after I finished my lunch. Now I realize that was a mistake and that’s probably why I didn’t want to walk. Because of this I just walked for 15 minutes, instead of my usual 30. I felt kind of bad about that so after doing some videos I went back and walked for 15 more.

Even though dividing the 30 minutes worked out pretty well, I really shouldn’t exercise so fast after eating. That’s probably why I didn’t want to run or put that much effort into it, but what’s done is done and I was able to get ready in time.

Every time I get a shot I think it hurts more that it does; I close my eyes, hoping for the worst, and most times it doesn’t hurt. Getting the flu shot does not hurt, takes no time at all and if you have health insurance you probably don’t even have to pay for it. If you can, get your flu shot, it takes five minutes. For me it was longer because I went to Walgreens and Walgreens always takes more that five minutes because you always have to get something else.

Now that that’s done, I think I’m ready for tomorrow, but please remember the social distancing, wear your mask and please just remember who you vote for will affect us all for the next four years. I hope we all learned something from the last four years, in both Puerto Rico and the U.S.
