Yesterday I went running again, this time I was told to do two more laps than last time, still running and walking. Two more laps made it eight and this really motivated me but I was worried I was going to be too tired when I got to the last two. With these two extra laps I did a total of eight, and with the warm up and cool down laps it was 11.

After that cardio workout I was and still am so happy and proud that I was able to do this again. I ended up walking 3.23 miles last night and that’s a little more than 5 kilometers. I didn’t do it on purpose but was so happy to see that I can do a 5K because I had just signed up to do a 5K yesterday. It took me about 52 minutes last night but I was walking pretty slowly those last few minutes.

I only have like two weeks to prepare for that because it’s at the end of the month but I’m sure I can do it faster. I definitely won’t be walking so much or so slowly during the race so hopefully I will be faster when it’s time for the 5K. I will probably go running again on Saturday to keep trying to do better.
