Great news, I got my Covid19 vaccine today! I was so nervous before I got it because of those rumors going around that the needle is big but that’s not true. The needle is just a regular needle, at least the one I saw. I didn’t look when I was getting the shot, I never like looking but there is nothing o be worried about. I didn’t feel a thing.
I feel fine right now but I will still try to take it slow for the rest of the day. I won’t exercise like I usually do today because the CDC recommends that you don’t exercise your arm after getting the shot. Not exercising today means I will be cutting my fourth week of Focus T25 Gamma videos in half. I usually wouldn’t do this, but I’m making an exception for this. I will do the last video of week four on Saturday.
Aside from not putting exercising my arm, they don’t say you have to rest for the rest of the day so, because I feel well and have energy I decided to go for a walk with my parents and my dogs.
I got the Pfizer vaccine and I already have an appointment to go back for the second vaccine in a month but nothing has changed. I still have to wear the mask and keep distance from other people who are not my immediate family, wash my hands and avoid crowds. Nothing has changed yet but I feel hopeful that we may be on our way to not having to wear masks everywhere. This will only happen if we all get vaccinated so find out where and when you can and get vaccinated as soon as possible.
You know how good it felt to hear how happy my grandparents were when they found out my mom and I got our first vaccines today? It was the best feeling in the world. I hope everyone can have that feeling sometime soon too, when you and someone close to you gets vaccinated.
