Happy 2024! I hope everyone’s new year is going well so far.
I’m looking forward to what this year has to offer because, like I said in my last post, I started a few things in 2023 that I wish to continue and hopefully finish this year, like my book. I may have been distracted on the last few days of the year because of the holidays but I plan to get back to writing one chapter every week. I’m almost done with Chapter 6, I just need to keep it up and not stop writing.
I also made a promise to write more on this blog at the beginning of December and sadly did not do it. I’m not very happy about that but as this is the first day of the year and the second day in a row I am writing here, I think this year is already looking pretty good for my blog, I just have to keep going and hopefully create a routine again.
I’ll also continue with my home workouts at least five times a week. I just finished my first two workouts of the year; a 30 minute strength video and a 10 minute Core Video. I worked out later than I usually do and for a second I thought maybe I wouldn’t but that wouldn’t be a good way to start the year. I had to continue with the same routine I had last year, doing home workouts from Monday to Friday and keep doing it for the rest of the year.
Those are not New Year’s resolutions, just commitments to keep doing what I have been doing and enjoy doing to make this year even better than the last.
And before I forget, I will make this another seizure free year and I am three months away from officially being seizure free for nine years.
