This year, I hadn’t started a new Apple Fitness challenge yet, not even after I decided to focus more on my lower body. I hadn’t even thought about it, until I remembered last week and decided to try to use Apple Fitness to help me improve my new hobby. 

There are collections to help you train to run a 5k and 10k, but I have a coach for that, I wasn’t looking for something to help me train, just something to help me get stronger. I found just that in the Get Your Legs in Great Shape collection. This collection just has eight videos, four lower body strength and four yoga videos,which pair up into four duos of strength and yoga. You are supposed to do each duo three times a week with a rest day in between before moving on to the next duo. 

I started the challenge last Friday and continued on Monday. I know the instructions said rest one day and I did on Saturday but I had a race on Sunday and have been running Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I plan to finish my first week tomorrow and move on to the next dúo next week. I hope this can help me on my next race, the 10k in April.
