That’s it, I did it! I finished the 60 day Insanity program.
I still can’t believe I did it and, as I’ve already said it, I didn’t think I would be able to do it but I had to try and I did it! I worked out six days a week for nine weeks from 25 minutes to one hour.
From running, to doing more push ups, burpee’s and high knees than I have in the last nine years, I finished these nine weeks very happy about my progress. I even started doing jumping jacks yesterday, following them on the video, without thinking about it. I can never do jumping jack because I overthink it and I don’t know what to do with my arms and legs or when to do it. But I had no problems yesterday because I wasn’t thinking, and didn’t lose focus when I did notice.
I’m so happy to have finished another one of my goals. Now I have to decide what I’m going to do next. I have to make up my mind fast if I want to start tomorrow.
I also had my first shift at Old Navy yesterday. I didn’t know this would happen but after a quick tour and organizing some clothes, I was taken to the cash register. I got to watch and learn from other employees, but pretty quickly it was my turn. I was at the register for most of my shift, which was pretty nerve wrecking but I got help from other employees. I honestly did not expect that on my first day, but the store was very busy because it was a Saturday and we’re getting into holiday season.
After working at the cash register on my first day, so close to Christmas and not screwing up, I think I’m going to be fine.
