On March 29, 2015 I decided to share the journey I had been on for three years. I was scared and a little insecure, but today, nine years later I’m proud to say I have lost some of that fear and insecurity. It’s still difficult putting myself out there and waiting to see if people … Continue reading Nine years later

This was waiting for me when I got to work this morning at my new second job! Yes, I have two jobs now! My new job is with the nonprofit organization Mujer Emprende, that provides tools and education for women to gain economic independence, gain professional growth and boost their businesses. They’re not only giving … Continue reading Got a second job!
I’m no longer hoping, wishing or even dreaming about writing for a magazine, that’s all in the past because IT HAPPENED! I just wrote not one but TWO ARTICLES in the January 2023 edition of Solapreneurs Magazine. Solapreneurs Magazine is a new magazine published in Puerto Rico for female entrepreneurs. Here you will find stories … Continue reading My first articles in Solapreneurs Magazine
Today, first thing in the morning, I went to the laboratory to get the Covid19 antigen test. I had already spent a week in my house, only leaving on Saturday for a walk at the beach. I had to get back to work, I felt fine and I couldn’t spend one more week in my … Continue reading Got a negative Covid test!
Last night I got back from Boston, where I went for the last few days of my vacation, after being in New York City. I enjoyed the drive to Boston because I got to rest from all the walking we did in the city. Our stay there was also a lot more relaxed and quiet … Continue reading Christmas Vacation 2022
After playing for 120 minutes and tying the game 3-3 with France, Argentina won the World Cup with 4-2 penalty kicks. This was going to be the third World Cup victory for either team and it is Argentina’s first World Cup victory since 1986 in Brazil. I have to admit, I was rooting for France. … Continue reading Congratulations Argentina!
I finally made it to week five of the PiYo/T25 Hybrid program. It took me a little longer to complete week four because I had trouble finishing it the first time I tried. I was just too tired so I took a break and rested for what was left of that week and tried again … Continue reading PiYo/T25 Hybrid- Week Five
This week I was writing an article for a magazine called SOLApreneurs Magazine. This is a new magazine in Puerto Rico. For my first article I got to do an interview, which I loved. I had so much fun in the whole process, not just writing but interviewing and doing research. Don’t get me wrong, … Continue reading My first article
Three weeks ago I started working again. It’s great because I start working at 12 PM so I have the whole morning to do whatever I want. However, until today, I was just waking up late and just wasting the whole morning. After I got home from work I still had to workout and do … Continue reading Early morning PiYO
Well, today I started my new job, sort of. It’s not really a new job, I’m working where I was working two years ago, when the Covid19 pandemic began. I had a good first day because I knew what to do, and I knew the people. It had been two years so I had to … Continue reading Happy to be back
This weekend I had to come to a decision to quit my job at Old Navy. It may seem a bit drastic to quit after not even two months or that I gave up too easy, but I assure you neither of those are true. I do not hold anything against the company, it just … Continue reading I had to leave, it just wasn’t worth it
I don’t think I had been able to take a break and relax for the last three days until this afternoon. First there was Thanksgiving on Thursday when, even though it was nice seeing family again after at least two years, it was still a lot being a co-host to the celebration. If waking up … Continue reading Intense Thanksgiving weekend
That’s it, I did it! I finished the 60 day Insanity program. I still can’t believe I did it and, as I’ve already said it, I didn’t think I would be able to do it but I had to try and I did it! I worked out six days a week for nine weeks from … Continue reading Insanity workouts: DONE!
I got great news this morning… That’s right, I got the job! I’m going to start working at Old Navy next week. I don’t know what else to say except I’m very happy, nervous, excited, ready to learn and see what this new adventure has to offer.
After a pretty intimidating first week of month two of the Insanity workouts, I have to say I’m a little relieved. I was afraid my knee would start bothering me again and maybe even hurt more but I don’t feel anything like that. By the end of each of these workouts I can barely do … Continue reading A week full of distractions
