After my most recent 24 hour EEG was finished earlier this week, I had a lot of energy. I hadn’t been able to do much since I left the doctor’s office the day before because of fear of sweating. It’s so hot, I stayed in a room with air conditioning for as long as a could and watched TV, did my nails, read, wrote and texted.

After the test was finished, and I unsuccessfully tried to get all of the glue used for the test, out of my hair, I really wanted to do something. I decided to exercise. Since I had time and energy, even though it was really hot, I went for it. So after looking over the different collections on Apple Fitness a few times, I decided on a pretty interesting and challenging one and started it.

This month I began the 60 Minutes of Cardio, Strength and Yoga Collection. There are 12 different combinations of these three types of routines, which can be completed every other day, or whenever you have time. It really doesn’t matter but I’ll aim for every other day. I know that at some point I will be very tired but I can rest on Sundays. I walk a lot with my boyfriend on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Cardio workouts include HIIT, Kickboxing, Dance, Cycling, Treadmill, or Rowing. This will be interesting because maybe will help me  to start running and cycling again, which I rarely do anymore. I have tried a couple of short dance videos and have only used the rowing machine once or twice.

The strength videos alter between total, lower and upper body workouts. The Yoga videos will improve my flexibility, as well as strengthen my core. This is good because I don’t think I’m going to want to do a Core Video after working out for an hour. With this collection I will really get a complete workout.
