I went too far

I have a little problem now. I'm having trouble knowing when people are being serious and when they're joking. I get angry at people, and then it turns out they were just kidding. There was nothing to be mad about. I thought it was better and I was getting the hang of it again, I … Continue reading I went too far

This is not the way to start the holiday season

We ate turkey; we enjoyed spending time with our family, some of us relaxed, while others fought over things they didn’t need in stores; after being thankful. Most of those didn’t sleep either, which probably made them more cranky and more willing to fight for that one large TV that didn’t fit in their house. … Continue reading This is not the way to start the holiday season

Thanks!

Thanksgiving 2015 is coming to an end. Whether you ate turkey, lechón, Chinese food, or pasta, I hope you had a good day. Even if you don’t celebrate it, and it’s just another day for you, I hope you had a good day. It’s called Thanksgiving, and even though to me it’s just turkey day, … Continue reading Thanks!

Stop asking for money I don’t have

As I told my friends on Facebook today, I don't have a job, yet I have to pay student loans. They keep asking for money, but I don't have any. Believe me, I want to be able to pay them. I hate getting those letters that say I owe money, that I am behind on … Continue reading Stop asking for money I don’t have

Oreo churros

I want to distract people a little from all the bad news for a little while. It's Sunday, so I want to share this amazing thing that I found on my go to news source; BuzzFeed. As I was looking over their Life section, I saw a story about churros and Oreo cookies. Of course, … Continue reading Oreo churros

This doesn’t change us

People have different ideas of what epilepsy is and how you control it or how to control a seizure. The truth is, you can't control someone having a seizure, and you shouldn't try. But there are different types of epilepsy, and different kinds of seizures. There are some you don't notice, the are the one's … Continue reading This doesn’t change us

“Everything was impossible until somebody did it”

I heard that a few minutes ago in a very inspiring TED talk. I had trouble concentrating on what he said after that, I just kept thinking about it, and he's right. Everyone thought everything was impossible until somebody did it, it's as simple as that. We can all apply it to our own life … Continue reading “Everything was impossible until somebody did it”

Confident interview

A few hours ago I had another interview. I got the call for that one this morning. I didn't think I would have time for that today, but I didn't want to spend a lot of time thinking about the interview and preparing for it. I don't need to practice for an interview, I know … Continue reading Confident interview

I have been waiting all week for November 8th. If you remember, October 8 marked my 6 months seizure free, so November 8 marks 7 months seizure free. It won’t be official until tonight, but I’m pretty sure I will make it. If I haven’t had a seizure for 6 months, I don’t think I’ll have one in the next 10 hours and I will make it to exactly 7 months. I have been waiting all week for November 8 so I won’t wait a few hours to star celebrating. Today marks 7 months, today we celebrate.

7 MONTHS!!!!!!!!

Last month I said I got dizzy that night, but it was not just that night, I have been getting dizzy or light headed a lot since then. I feel better if I eat something, but I still think I should tell my doctors just in case. I don’t…

Getting better requires sleep

I don't remember saying this, but if I wrote it, it must be true.  This photo should be added to my blog post from July 21, 2015 "Deep down inside, I am still not a morning person".  It clearly expresses my anger after being in this accident.  I still had unresolved issues with this … Continue reading Getting better requires sleep

Really? Is this the world we live in? Where this is the first thing I read in the morning?

Airstrikes Hospital in Afghanistan Why are you doing this again? Why?Mind your own business! And bombing a hospital? Was that really necessary? I understand helping others, but that is none of your business. Cry and cry about the tragedy that was September 11, but then you bomb a hospital.  It doesn't matter to you because … Continue reading Really? Is this the world we live in?
