I got great news this morning… That’s right, I got the job! I’m going to start working at Old Navy next week. I don’t know what else to say except I’m very happy, nervous, excited, ready to learn and see what this new adventure has to offer.

That’s right, just two weeks of Insanity. That’s s nothing, especially after you have already put in six weeks, seven if you count recovery week, but right now it feels like an eternity. That’s 17 workout videos in 13 days. There’s two ways of thinking about that: 1) Shit, that’s a lot! I can’t do … Continue reading This is it, last two weeks!
After a pretty intimidating first week of month two of the Insanity workouts, I have to say I’m a little relieved. I was afraid my knee would start bothering me again and maybe even hurt more but I don’t feel anything like that. By the end of each of these workouts I can barely do … Continue reading A week full of distractions
After taking a small break from Insanity after the recovery week, it was time to go back. My knee is not bothering me anymore, it feels a lot better, and all it took was one stretch video. Well, that and resting for the rest of the weekend. It was a small surprise to see that … Continue reading Starting Insanity Month 2
Recovery week it over! In the begging I was happy to have a break from the intense workout but by Thursday I wanted it to be over. It started to get boring because it’s the same video every day. By the fourth day of doing the same thing, I was sick of it, but I … Continue reading I need a break after Recovery Week

Guess what I did today. I finished month one of Insanity! Honestly, I can’t even describe how I feel; I don’t really know. It’s a mix of proud, surprised, motivated, happy and tired. I’m very tired but I think that’s understandable, it’s been four very tough weeks. I haven’t skipped one day and some days … Continue reading Finished Insanity: Month 1!
We do amazing things when we’re motivated, like yesterday morning for instance, I didn’t hesitate to get out of bed when I heard my alarm. I went straight into my workout. I didn’t have all day to do it like I usually do so I had to hurry and I really couldn’t, or didn’t want … Continue reading One more week DONE!
I’ve got some good news, I got a job! I was worried it might take a long time because I thought I would be competing with a lot of other people. I sent many resumes but heard back from one of them for an interview pretty quickly and I got it! I’m nervous about it, … Continue reading Working hard for what I want
I just found the best online certification that I want all my family and friends to get, just in case. This free, online certificate is a 30 minute course that “educates the public on the Epilepsy Foundation’s basic procedures for responding to someone having a seizure.” If you complete the course you receive a certificate … Continue reading Seizure First Aid Ready
This was a difficult week to start doing a new workout program, especially one like Insanity. Aside from looking for jobs and taking two online certifications, we were taking care of three dogs my parents found abandoned in the park. We were able to find homes for two of them but we still have one … Continue reading I finished week one, only seven to go
