Lost

As I left class tonight I was very proud of myself for having payed attention during the whole class and very rarely letting my mind drift off. This has been something I am very proud of, as I think I mentioned during the last two weeks.  However, while I was thinking about this as I … Continue reading Lost

Confessions of a caffeine addict

There is always a six pack, an eight pack or more Diet Coke in my house; I drink between one and three every day. Usually I have enough to last the whole week or more. I always have something to drink when I really need the caffeine boost, but today there wasn't .I usually have … Continue reading Confessions of a caffeine addict

Long day, worth it

I started working at 8:30 this morning at another press conference which was fun because I got to work at the entrance asking people to sign in, this made me feel powerful. I don’t know if I took my job way too seriously but I felt like a bouncer when I had to tell people … Continue reading Long day, worth it

Running to semifinals

Last week was an exciting week for Puerto Rico, our own Monica Puig was the first Puerto Rican to win a gold medal in the Olympics. #NoBillNoBreak

I have been kind off covering this story on a few of my previews posts, and today it got more interesting, but I won't stop until they vote. Right now democrat representatives are staging a sit-in, refusing to leave the house of representatives until they have reached a vote on gun control.  These are news … Continue reading #NoBillNoBreak

Heart and thoughts with Ecuador

On Saturday, Ecuador was struck by a very powerful earthquake, killing at least 480 people and leaving almost 4,000 injured. The 7.8 magnitude earthquake stuck the coast of Ecuador, and was centered to the west of Esmeraldas. Some survivors have been found, but there is not much hope left, as the search continues for corpses. … Continue reading Heart and thoughts with Ecuador

I call this a victory

Today we had to go all the way to the health care store to argue my case, and I was pumped to argue my case and fight.  We got there, and the place was empty, it was Thursday afternoon, but we still had to wait because they only had one or two people helping customers. … Continue reading I call this a victory

Strength? Cardio?

Is Strength Training or Cardio Better for Fat Loss? This was interesting. I thought we could get those muscles from just doing cardio, and strength training was so we could lift stuff. Strength training always seemed like it was for people who wanted to be Superman, people who wanted to have big muscles. I was … Continue reading Strength? Cardio?
